WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU COME AND SEE US

How the face of aesthetics will be changing in the near future.

Over the last 6 months, the world has undergone its own facelift. With doors slowly beginning to reopen, it’s important to understand that the world of aesthetics may look a little different when you return! As many businesses are preparing for customers, we wanted to let you know what we’ve been doing to get ourselves ready to see you again as well as what to expect from us and what we’ll expect from you when you arrive here at RP Aesthetics.

To keep everyone safe, it’s vital that you are prepped for a change in protocol and to understand that not adhering to these guidelines may result in you being refused treatment.

What to expect from us

When we can welcome you back to our clinic, you will notice some changes that, if you’re not prepared, may be startling. We wanted to let you know what to expect from us so that when you do visit us in future, you will be prepared for our new precautionary measures.

  1. Consultations – Going forward, our consultations will take place remotely in order to reduce any unnecessary visits to the clinic. This will also apply to follow-up appointments, unless you have an issue with your treatment that requires attention.
  2. Increase in PPE – As many of you are aware, the NHS is currently enforcing the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). This is to help prevent germs and bacteria from reaching our incredible key workers and to reduce the risk of coronavirus being spread around. We will also be taking these precautions when you arrive, so don’t be alarmed when our staff are dressed in masks and other PPE.
  3. Reduced staff – To help minimise the risk to our staff and to our customers, the number of people within the building will be restricted. This will also ensure that social distancing guidelines are upheld at all times.
  4. Standard precautions – We will continue to put your health and safety at the forefront of everything we do. We will be taking extra measures to keep our clinic clean and safe as well as washing our hands on a regular basis and upholding strict standards of personal hygiene at every turn.
  5. Treatment specific risk assessments – Risk assessments will be carried out for each treatment, ensuring that all patients receive the highest standard of care.

What we’ll expect from you

Though we will be taking specific precautions to keep you safe, there are a number of ways in which we will expect you to cooperate with our guidelines in order to help to keep both our staff and customers safe from any risk.

  1. Social distancing – We will expect you to abide by social distancing guidelines and keep a 2-metre distance from other clients visiting the clinic.
  2. Consent forms – As our current clients will know, any reputable establishment will ask you to fill out consent forms before your procedure. You will now be required to fill in a new form when you undergo treatments while COVID-19 is still a problem in the UK.
  3. Symptoms – When you call us to book an appointment, you will be asked if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. If you are showing any symptoms, you will be expected to cancel your appointment.
PPE – Where appropriate, customers will be asked to wear masks and gloves to protect themselves and others from contamination.

How we’ve been preparing

To prepare for welcoming you back to our clinic, we have undergone training so we can keep you as safe and protected as possible while under our care. Through our commitment to the routine decontamination of reusable, non-invasive patient care equipment, strict use of the recommended PPE where necessary and the development of a strong understanding of COVID symptoms, we hope you know that we are working to protect you.

We look forward to seeing you
