Welcome Back To RP Aesthetics
On 12th April, RP Aesthetics was overjoyed to open its doors once more and welcome back our dearly missed clients. The roadmap out of lockdown continues, with the 17th of May marking the date that further COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted.
Over the last year, numerous lockdowns and limited social contact has proved damaging to our mental health, as well as our physical well-being. After spending such a long period attempting to navigate an unfamiliar new way of living, it is not surprising that many of us still feel a degree of anxiety about the world opening up again.
How Will RP Aesthetics Keep You Safe?
RP Aesthetics in Newcastle upon Tyne is doing everything in its power to create a safe place for clients to undergo treatments. In addition to the physical benefits of choosing to have an aesthetics treatment, our clinic should provide you with a space for relaxation and some much-needed ‘me time’. We aim for clients to feel positive about their physical appearance post-treatment, whilst also seeing an improvement in their mental well-being.
To ensure our clients feel at ease during their appointments, RP Aesthetics is currently adhering to strict COVID-19 restrictions.
Social Contact and PPE
Due to the hands-on nature of aesthetics, it is not possible to perform treatments without close contact with a client. The staff at RP aesthetics will therefore wear masks or shields, and disposable gloves at all times. A new mask and pair of gloves will be worn for each appointment.
Clients are asked to wear masks, unless they are exempt on medical grounds. If a treatment, e.g. lip fillers, requires you to remove your mask, it is requested that you keep your face covered until your treatment begins and again when exiting the building.
High Cleaning Standards
The clinic will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before opening. In between appointments, staff will wipe down any surfaces and equipment that the previous client has come into contact with.
Reduced Number of Appointments
Appointments at RP Aesthetics are operating on a one-in-one-out basis. The only person that you will come into contact with is your practitioner.
How Can I Repair The Damage Done To My Skin With Covid-19 Restrictions In Place?
It was easy to fall out of a skincare routine during lockdown and the COVID-19 restrictions. For some that meant not being able to undergo regular treatments such as facials or skin peels, for others that amounted to simply giving up on daily moisturising. Either way, spending long periods of time indoors will have resulted in lacklustre skin that is desperately in need of some attention! Whether you are excited to re-establish your monthly treatments or you are brand new to the world of aesthetics, RP Aesthetics has something for you.
Obagi® Skincare
Richard Peppiatt, the Director and Senior Advanced Clinician at RP Aesthetics, is an Obagi®-trained medical practitioner. Obagi® products and practices have been voted number one in the world for medical skin health. As the lead North East Ambassador for Obagi®, Richard provides treatments and product advice for every skin type.
Dermal Fillers and Botox®
Skin loses its elasticity and volume with age but Dermal Fillers and Botox® help to plump it up and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. If you fear that lockdown has brought about new fine lines and creases, one of these treatments, or a combination of the two, could give your skin a more youthful look.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy destroys fatty deposits in the skin and disrupts the connective tissue fibres that trap fat cells, resulting in cellulite. Used worldwide, this treatment not only helps to improve the texture of your skin, but also ensures that you feel good about your body.
